One Day A Solo View
Each and everyday just under 7 billion people face the world. And every individual has their own unique experiences. Some struggle, some thrive and others hang on by a thread.
As a collective we move through our days and typically ignore our surroundings. We have our routines and tend to miss the beauty of the small things. We put out of our minds the lives and problems of others. We forget that on any given day there are almost 7 billion unparalleled observations of the world.
In my own life, I challenge myself everyday to acknowledge the world around me. I view my environment through a child’s eye perspective. The details matter. No matter how mundane my activities seem, there is always something sublime about them.
So just as I push myself, I am issuing a challenge to you and launching a one day blogging project.
The Project:
One Day A Solo View
The Goal:
On Wednesday, September 21, 2011, I am requesting that you document your day.
For you it should be about your daily life adventures. Take pictures, write down notes, notice the details and finally, write a story. Paint a masterpiece of your day with words. It is your day so own it, and tell the world about it.
For me it is about discovering the world from hundreds of new perspectives. I am excited to read your stories and for a brief moment walk in your shoes. And allowing others to recognize the elegance of their life.
The Rules:
1) There are no rules.
