I have spent countless months working on me. Searching and discovering the place where I was comfortable with myself, content with myself and happy with myself. And it has been a process. I have made mistakes and great strides simultaneously. I have hidden in holes and flown to the moon on countless occasions. There have been days when getting out of bed seemed like facing the most intense television drama kidnapping. They have been paired with days where I floated around on a magic carpet ride. However, I am finally to in a place where I am comfortable and content with me.
I finally reached a point in my life where my beliefs are in check. I will no longer compromise for anything or anyone, and I know what I want.
1. Marriage
It is not the cards for me. I allowed myself to fall under the engagement status once before and will never let it happen again. I can be in a 100% committed relationship for the long term, but I will never take the vows.
2. Children
I freaking adore kids. Not only do they inspire me, but they bring out the best in me. I will love the shit out of your’s, but I do not want my own.
3. Pets
Dogs for the win! And not a little dog. I want to wrestle UFC style.
4. Home
I just want to be comfortable. I do not need anything fancy or expansive. Just give me a fantastic kitchen where I can be content with myself and my raw ingredients.
5. The Relationship
Just love me, respect me and be honest with me. No more, no less. I am a simple girl. Oh, and if you could make me laugh, that would rock the shit out of my world too.
So, there you have it kids! My dance card is now open for partners.
